Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na překlad učebního textu z oblasti elektrotechniky. Práce má za cíl přeložit a analyzovat odborný učební text a je rozdělena na tři hlavní části. V teoretické části je uvedena zejména charakteristika odborného a učebního stylu, typy překladatelských postupů, překladatelské transformace a funkční perspektiva větná. Praktická část předkládá anglický překlad úryvku ze skript a analytická část má za cíl analyzovat problémy, které se vyskytly při překladu a zhodnotit charakteristické znaky odborného učebního stylu založené na analýze tohoto překladu.
Learning styles of future Biology teachers and scientists

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of learning styles. The literature review describes the teaching and its conceptions, it works with the term of the teaching methods. The literature review characterizes teaching methods mostly used in biology education. Furthermore, the literature review explains the learning process, the approaches to learning, strategies, and tactics of learning. In the next part, the literature review deals with the learning styles and their classification according to the well-known authors. The last section of the literature review describes the diagnostics of the learning styles and methods that are used for detecting the learning styles. The results summarize the findings of a research study focused on the learning styles of university students. The research dataset consists of 187 cases that reflect the differences in the preferences of learning styles of future scientists and biology teachers and the relationship between a particular learning style and the favourite teaching method that students encountered at primary or secondary school. Furthermore, there were founded out the differences in the preferences of teaching methods and identified the reasons that had led the respondents to study science (biological) disciplines.
Learning styles of pupils in the education of natural history

The bachelor thesis focuses on the topic of learning styles. There are described learning and some approaches to learning and strategies of learning in the review of literature. The next part of the literary part presents the most famous authors and their theories concerning learning styles of students. The following part applies on diagnostics of learning styles. In the last part there are characterised teaching methods which are used in biology and the signs that teaching methods and learning styles have in common. The practical part and results focused on learning styles of students from 8th and 9th classes from primary schools. The research data set contains 125 cases that reflect differences in learning styles depending on the pupil's gender or whether certain learning styles are related to biology. It is found whether a certain favourite area of biology (f. e. biology of human body, zoology, botany ...) is related to a learning style, whether the teaching method affects the popularity of biology, or whether a certain learning style is related to the teaching methods and forms in biology.
Cooperation of First and Second Graders in the Learning Process

The work deals with the cooperation of pupils among first and second grade pupils in a primary school. It analyzes to which extent are second grade pupils able to give their knowledge to pupils of the first grade. Then it shows how the learning style and the personality affects the cooperation of an individual within the group. The practical part proofs the long-term investigation in one class that was systematically prepared for the cooperation among older and younger pupils. The results of this research in the observed class evaluate higher level of cooperative and communication skills of individual pupils than those, who previously did not deal with cooperation. Teaching pupils how to cooperate gradually developed their relationship not only to younger classmates, but to the willingness to help each other, to respect the opinions of others and it also strengthened the relationships in the observed classroom. Analysis of a beginning teacher and his common problems in an educational process

Thesis "Beginning teacher - analysis of his personality, work and the most common problems in his work" deals with the personality of a beginning teacher, mentions the most common problems in his work and tries to find ideas for improving the situation. As the same times in analyses the selected components of his personality, which usually participates the lack of attention, especially in preparing future teachers, and which usually not mentioned in proper context. It focuses primary on the professional competence of teachers in relation to the student's core competencies as well as in other contexts. It also discusses the role of novice teachers in the context of the transformation of the Czech education system and also in the context of the Lisbon process. Analyses of key documents are included too. Great attention is paid to think about the different problematic areas concerning the work of novices teachers. In this context, the author focuses on the matter of authority and educational styles. It is based not only on the special literature but also on the sound, which took the form of numerous interview, surveys, questionnaires and observation. The topic of this bachelor thesis is the language of sport leisure-time activities lecturers. It is aimed to pupils at the first grade (thereinafter ZŠ) and lecturers of kickbox and dance lessons. The first part of the thesis is written in general terms. It comes out from the literature about communication. It emphasizes the importance of pedagogical communication and its effect on the development of education and the cooperation among pupils and lecturers. The second part of the thesis is aimed to use of verbal and non-verbal communication in leisure-time activities.
Pupil 's learning style and its role in the process of foreign language acquisition for younger school-age pupils

Učební styl žáka a jeho role v procesu osvojování slovní zásoby v cizím jazyce u žáků mladšího školního věku Kateřina Smolíková ABSTRACT The thesis deals with learning styles and their role in the process of vocabulary acquisition. The theoretical part characterizes the basic concepts associated with learning styles, their typology and the history of their research, their diagnostics and pedagogical application. Furthermore, some previous research concerning the effectiveness of respecting the student's learning styles in teaching is mapped here. The practical part describes a research survey, which aims to identify students' learning styles and compare the level of acquired vocabulary depending on the way in which the new vocabulary was presented to students. The comparison of the level of acquired vocabulary took place in three groups, whose learning style preferences differed from each other. It was a visual-verbal and kinesthetic-aural group and a group of students without a preference for learning style. At the same time, the practical part also analyzes the percentage composition of the preferences of learning styles of individual respondents and compares their results with their preferences.
